SOLAR ENERGY
In 2025, we implemented electric car charging stations at our facilities, using energy produced by our photovoltaic solar park. This park, which grew from 700 m² to 10,100 m² in 2021 with the installation of 4,710 solar panels, reflects our commitment to clean and renewable energy, and we continue to work on expanding it further.
BIOMASS AND METHANIZATION
In 2025, we launched a methanization plant that operates by treating waste generated in our industry.
WATER REUSE
We reuse, after purification, all the water used in our industrial processes for the irrigation of the 112 hectares of forest and farmland surrounding us. Additionally, we maintain herds of livestock that graze on these lands, helping to clean the forest and reduce the risk of fires.
AGRICULTURAL AND FOREST MANAGEMENT
Grup d’Avinyó manages 519 hectares of agricultural and forest land in Avinyó (Bages). The agricultural lands are cultivated under organic standards, promoting biodiversity and sustainability. We also implement forest management plans to ensure the health and diversity of the forests.
REDUCTION OF PLASTIC
At Grup d’Avinyó, we have prioritized the valorization of our waste, improving its separation and exploring new management avenues to achieve this. As a result, we have reached a recycling rate of 95% in 2024.
